Faulty
nutrition resulting from malassimilation,
poor diet or overeating.

This type of malnutrition
is not observable because, for the most
part, you don't feel sick. The dilemma
with this form of malnutrition is that
you don't realize that there is anything
wrong until years later when your body
starts to fall apart. A good example
is an elderly women suffering from osteoporosis-
the problem began years before the symptoms
became manifest.

This type of malnutrition
is sometimes observable. Your body might
be low on one or more nutrients, but
you go on living without any outright
signs of sickness, except for sight behavioral
changes you might experience from time
to time, such as depression and fatigue.

People with this
type of malnutrition can also be marginal
or subclinical. The problem with obesity
is that these individuals do not get
enough required nutrients, while consuming
too much of the wrong kind of foods.
Often, their diets consist of fast foods,
processed foods and high calorie beverages.
These foods are very low in nutritional
value and high in fats and sugars.
